Do genital warts for a male mean that he cannot have sex witout infecting his mate?

September 2nd, 2008 by admin

-do genital warts prevent a male from having a zero chance of infecting his partner?
-Can it be rid of?
-How is it caused?
-what does it mean?

Please don't give me sites to look it up on… they have some pretty nasty pictures…

They spread skin to skin contact. If any skin is exposed from a condom that is infected than you can pass the virus. You need to get them surgically removed, frozen off, chemically burned off.
A healthy immune system will rid the body of the virus in about 2 years.
check the CDC website. THere are no pictures to gross you out.

Unless you wear a condom 100% of the time, you are going to give this to someone else. These can be removed, often taking several procedures. There is no guarantee they won't come back but most of the time, if you keep going back when one returns, you will eventually be fee of them. You got this from having sex with someone else who has genital warts. Often, the lesions don't appear until after you have already forgotten about your encounter. If you would do some research on the subject, you also would know your treatment options. WebMd is an excellent source.

I got genital warts from a man when I was 15. Sometimes if you're lucky and don't have an outbreak, then your partner will not get it immediately. Even condoms can't 100% prevent from genital warts because sometimes the warts can be on the scrotum and butt, which can still come in contact with another person.

Genital warts can be removed for the time being. Although they can reappear anytime. I had mine surgically removed when I was 15, am now 21 and they haven't came back since the 1st time I had them.

Read up on HPV. Just go to http://www.webmd.com, I don't think they have any pictures that'll pop up and disgust you. I've seen some of those type of pictures when I was trying to figure out what mine were, I know how you feel, they are pretty nasty looking sometimes.

You will never have a zero chance, so until they're cleared up don't do it.

All warts are caused by a virus (human papilla virus in your case) and are transmittable, some easier than others.

A good dermatologist can remove them and give you a time line to look for a recurrence (no guarantee of him getting them all.) If they don't come back within that time you have a fairly decent chance of seeing the last of them. Use a condom until you are sure (use a condom anyway)
