I would direct that question to a dermatologist. What is prescribed for one person might not be appropriate for another,

Aldara is not for warts unless your Dermatologists thinks they are precancerous.
If that it the case, it works well.
Never use the medication on an area unless the Dr told you because you can do harm to good cells.

Try something safer first. There are two things I am confident will help. Herbs of Light makes an oxygen therapy product called "Oxysalve." The stuff is ideal for virus induced warts, etc. There is also a product by Lumina Health called "Cellfood," which will literally oxidize the wart into oblivion. Either approach should work just fine.

Aldara is generally used topically (on the external skin surface) to treat warts of the genital and anal areas.
SIDE EFFECTS listed include redness, itching or burning of the skin, flaking of the skin, swelling or pain in the area where aldara was applied, blisters, scabs or bumps on the skin, change in skin color, headache, muscle weakness or pain, fever, flu like symptoms, and fungal infection.
I would seek out a Doctors advice before using it on a facial wart.
