Facial Warts - What should I do ? pls. help?

September 4th, 2008 by admin

I went to the GP & he said to go and pick up any cream from the Chemist. I went to the chemist and they said, they dont give anything for Facial warts like this.

I developed this small wart close to my chin an year ago. But recently it has grown big in size along with 2 other warts next to it.
Please advice ?
I am 26.

Should I ask the GP that I want to see a dermatologist ?

Isn't there a cream or anything similar that i can use ?

ask your gp to send you to your local cryo clinic and get them frozen off

does your practise have more than one GP…….go to a more sympathetic one. did you tell your g you were unable to get the cream , if you didn't tell him he will think you are wart free, go back if his practise nurse can't freeze them off he can make an appointment for you with someone who can. he shouldn't tell you to use creams on your face by yourself in case of scarring.

Find yourself a more helpful doctor. I know they can remove them with "dry ice". My doctor did mine himself, but you might find a doctor who wants to send you to a specialist. It's well worth it to be rid of them. (there are people who can charm them away too!!)

How old are you? Because sometimes these ar a result of sundamaged skin usually in older people. Not skin cancer. A GP should be sending you to a dermatologist or even a cosmetologist. They may want to remove it and check it out in the lab.
Tell your GP you want to see a consultant and get a referal.

Ask your GP if he is willing to refer you to a dermatologist who will be able to cauterise the lesions.

You get cr*p people in all professions.Go to a different doctor. The first GP I went to see a few months ago and he did not recognise the symptoms of MS and sent me home. I went to see a different Dr at the same surgery a few days later and she was so worried about my condition she had me admitted to hospital there and then.

    Go to a different Doctor!

Cryotherapy, using liquid nitrogen, will get rid of it. Ask to see a dermatologist.
