I had deep plantars warts on my right foot. I had three successive surgeries to remove them and after each very painful surgery the warts quickly grew back larger than before. My daughter has a lot of them on her feet, the doctor has tried treating them but my daughter just ends up in pain and loses skin on them.

I herd on TV the other night to put duck tape on the warts, after a week or two the wart dies….I thought this interesting? Apparently the duck tape suffocates the wart.
Have no idea why this stuck in the brain, maybe waiting to tell you? :0)

my daughter is 10 years old and has like 12 warts on her feet. YUCK! What should i use to get rid of them? besides the doctor?

My daughter had the same problem and her podiatrist told her to take cimetidine (BRAND NAME: Tagamet), which is usually used for acid reflux. It worked got rid of the warts and they never came back. I don't remember the dose. Good Luck!

For the past 2 weeks ive been having 2 planets warts treated with acid. Now that they are almost gone i cant help but dig at them with a knife, now i touched one of them not paying attention with my fingers and washed my hands, Im worried that i may have just spread the wart to my face/hands….

is this very likely that this is gonna happen?

it is very unlikely that they will transfer, you washed your hands and planters warts are almost exclusively a foot condition. They thrive in the warm moist foot environment. in the open air it is very tough for them to spread.
