What is the best treatment for genital warts??

September 8th, 2008 by admin

Aldara cream! You can have them lazered off or frozen off like some people. But for me, I kind of saw that as a last resort! I would have much rather tried using a cream for a few weeks. I used Aldara cream when I had genital warts and I haven't had them since! It can take a few weeks for them to completely disappear though, so you have to be patient. Just ask your doctor for a prescription. And, you don't need to go to the dermatologist, your family doctor is fine. Good luck to you!

Trans-Ver-Sal Wart Remover Pediapatch 6Mm 15/Box

Wart Remover Uses Simple, effective removal of common warts, easily recognized by distinctive cauliflower-like appearance with rough texture on the surface. A controlled, continuous delivery of medication is administered with each application. When used as directed, the nonirritating formula is gentle on surrounding skin. Directions Recommended application: at night before retiring. Wash affected area. Dry thoroughly. Gently smooth wart surface with emery file supplied. Peel patch from clear strip, leaving top blue plastic film in place and trim to wart size. IMPORTANT: Patch must be trimmed carefully to completely cover wart, but not to come in contact with unaffected surrounding skin. Apply a drop of warm water to wart, keeping surrounding skin dry. Apply medicated patch at bedtime, blue side up, sticky bottom side to wart. Secure patch in place with tape enclosed in kit. Remove patch in morning (after at least 8 hours) and discard. Repeat directions every 24 hours until wart is completely removed (up to 12 weeks). Visible improvement generally occurs during the first several days of treatment. Complete removal may be expected after 3 to 12 weeks of use. Warnings For external use only. Do not use this product on irritated skin, or any area that is infected or reddened, if you are a diabetic or if you have poor blood circulation. If discomfort persists, see your doctor. Do not use on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them, genital warts, warts on the face or mucous membranes. Discontinue use if excessive irritation of surrounding skin appears. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Not recommended for children under two, except on the advice of a physician. Active Ingredients Per Patch: Salicylic Acid USP 15% (In Natural Karaya Gum Base) Inactive Ingredients Polyethylene Glycol 300 USP;

No, they need specialist treatment at the GUM clinic. Dont suffer until your doctor returns - you cant be ill to his holiday timetable - just look up the no. for the clinic in the phone directory and give them a ring.

Zoop’s I Wanna Be The Guy BATTLE-OFF 57: Genital Wart

September 4th, 2008 by admin

For those unaware, I am facing long-time pal and GameFAQs moderator/NES guru Brian Sulpher ( http://youtube.com/user/brisulph ) in a match-up to see who can become THE GUY! Be sure to check out Brian’s progress on his page, his videos are hilarious. If you dig my stuff, you’ll love Brian’s videos.

The rules: we play on Hard. This is NOT a race. We’re adults with job/school who simply do this when we have spare time. If we both become THE GUY, we’ll share the honor with no gripes (though I’ll be a smidgen more of THE GUY than Brian). I do NOT see this happening. If you’re looking for a fabulous ending, it may not come for either of us, let alone both of us. Whoever gets the farthest will be crowned THE GUY!!!

Genital wart treatment.?

September 2nd, 2008 by admin

So ive been given warticon to treat my genital warts, im on the 3rd day of using it which will now be followed with a four day rest period.
Ive recently found that im very tender down there and a bit sore. It does say on the leaflet inside the box that this could happen on the 2nd or 3rd day as the warts are beginning to disappear.
Has anyone experienced this? If so when did the tenderness go away and did your warts go down after they experienced this?
yesterday mine were a lot more raised, but appear to be looking slightly smaller.
Could just be me though wishing they would go away!
Thanks!

ur so dirty
