Flat warts on face and forehead, how do I get rid of them…hopefully, painlessly?

August 31st, 2008 by admin

I have read about the virus that causes these, etc. I want to get them removed. If a doctor does it with a lasre or other means soes it take long to heal etc? Blisters, scabs? Any one who has done this I would appreciate some help.

warts are so easy to catch and easy to get rid of. just go to the dermatologist and he/she can prescribe a painless cream treatment.

This easy-to-use kit has everything you need to quickly and effectively remove common and plantar warts. They are harmless growths that consist of a center of inner skin (or connective) tissue with blood vessels covered with layers of outer skin (or epidermis) tissue. For the removal of plantar warts from the bottom of the foot: plantar warts are recognized by their location only on the bottom of the foot, their tenderness, and the interruption of the footprint pattern. Planter warts grow inwards and are often flat due to the pressure caused by walking. They are often callused and painful. Directions See instructions for use on information booklet inside. Warnings HIGHLY FLAMMABLE: Contents under pressure. Do not pierce or burn pressurized can, even after use. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 degrees C (120 degrees F). Keep away from fire or flame and from sources of sparks or ignition. Direct exposure to heat may cause it to explode, causing serious injury. Piercing the can or exposure to heat may cause it to explode, causing serious injury. Do not inhale vapor/spray and use only in well-ventilated areas. For external use only. Use only as directed. If you do not use Freeze Away exactly as these directions say to use it, or if you use it on any condition that is not a common or plantar wart, it may cause serious

Has anyone ever been on Cimetidine (aka Tagamet) to help get rid of flat warts? How did it work for you?

August 29th, 2008 by admin

My podiatrist just put me on this medicine, and I was wondering if it really works all that well or if I should tell her to stuff it because of the long list of potential drug reactions and side effects. Today is my first day of the medicine; she’s got me on 400mg 3x a day. Thanks for your input!
I’ve prescribed it before for other folks as an adjunct (not the only) medicine for wart therapy. I found it didn’t work so well on its own… As far as the side effects go, any medicine you take has a laundry list of potential side effects. If you feel fine on the medicine, it won’t hurt to continue on it. Tagamet is a safe medicine in most people. My suggestion would be to check out this HPV Warts site which offers some great tips and info.

August 27th, 2008 by admin

i've had flat warts on my face for a year now. help. do you know of anyone who's had success?

My husbands doctor said they are called barnacles. They are a lot harder to get rid of than the common wart and come back easily. My husband had to go to a dermatologist and he froze them off. (over the counter wart freeze did nothing) They came back.
